Circulatory: arthritis, poor circulation
Digestive: parasites, bloating, gas, indigestion
Immune: infection, inflammation, virus
Limbic: anxiety, irritability, stress, tension, depression
Lymph: swollen lymph nodes
Muscular: spasm, cramp
Nervous: poor brain function, foggy brain
Respiratory: congestion, bronchitis, pneumonia, tuberculosis, whooping cough

Safety of Peppermint essential oil…

Safe for everyone except…
  • under age 6 years (inhalation and topical use) based on high menthol content which stimulates cold receptors in the lungs and can slow respiration in some children
  • if have G6PD deficiency, cardiac fibrillation, cholestasis, or GERD
  • around cats

Breastfeeding women use caution, as Peppermint has been known to decrease milk supply in some women.

When using topically, keep the dilution at or below 5.4% to prevent adverse reactions.
